Alternative Church Services are available online and by telephone. You can join in either actively or as an observer. Axmouth folk are taking part in these services but we are doing them as the Axe Valley Mission Community, so it’s a chance to get to know the wider congregation too!
Sundays at 11.00 – AVMC Online Service via Zoom*
An online church service for Axmouth and all churches in the Axe Valley Mission Community (AVMC). Do join us and take part.
Where possible we will record this service and post it on this site within 24 hours. (Scroll down for the current recording)
Wednesdays at 15.30 – AVMC Coffee and Cake on Zoom*
A chance to chat and keep up to date with each other over coffee.
* If you haven’t used Zoom before, the link will prompt you to download it. Follow any instructions and it should work. If you can’t make it work, Contact Us in the top menu – or here and we’ll try to guide you!

Social Media. We run a Facebook page for the village community to let you know what’s happening in the village. Scroll through the postings for all sorts of snippets that may be helpful during the COVID-19 pandemic.
What’s going on. Please check the “AVMC Pews News” in the top menu – or here. This keeps you up to date with what we’re doing.
Quiet space. Although the Axmouth church building has to be closed for now, the church grounds are available if you would like somewhere quiet to pause and reflect. There is a bench where you can sit and a tree for you to post prayers if you wish.
Prayer or private chat. If you would like us to pray for you, or someone to talk to about anything, please send us a message using “Contact Us” in the top menu – or here.
Leadership. Our Team Rector, Revd Clive Sedgewick, continues to take charge, supported by his team of ordained and lay ministers. Our new Team Vicar, Revd Nicky Davis, is ready and keen to join us alongside Clive but the lockdown prevents her from moving into the area at the moment. She hopes to be with us in September.
Getting back to normal. When we are able to make changes we’ll let you know here on the website, so please check here regularly.
Meanwhile if there’s anything you think we should be sharing here please use “Contact Us” in the top menu – or here. Or you can send a message on our Facebook page.
