There was a display of harvest produce in the church which Nicky auctioned after the service. The proceeds and this week’s collection were all donated to Seaton Food Bank.

We enjoyed freshly squeezed apple juice given by Christina Bows and various of our number brought and shared home-baked apple cake. So we can testify to the bumper apple harvest this year, as further evidenced by the heavily fruited apple trees around the village!

There was no morning service on Sunday. Instead Nicky held a Pet Service in the afternoon. The church played host to numerous dogs, all of which were blessed by Nicky. They were remarkably quiet — most of the time!

The following week, Sun 12 Oct, is our Harvest Festival at 10am!
