We celebrated our Axmouth Harvest Festival on Sun 11 Oct with a Harvest Communion service taken by Bishop Moira.
It was followed by an auction of harvest produce we had brought to Church, then a lovely lunch in the Axmouth village hall — main course donated by The Ship Inn just up the road and desserts made by members of the Axmouth community.
Here is Bishop Moira’s excellent and engaging sermon. Click here to listen.
The two readings underpinning it were 2 Corinthians 9.6–end and Luke 12.16-30. Click here to read the text.
